A poker player of 17 years and Unibet Poker ambassador of 6 years, David started playing professionally in 2006, building up a bankroll from scratch playing online SNGs and live MTTs in Connecticut. After Black Friday, he returned to his hometown of Dublin where he segued into online MTTs and Satellites and became a regular on the European live circuit.
Across all sites, David has made just north of $1,000,000 online. He has also cashed live 175 times in 23 different countries for over $700,000 with over 70 final tables and 10 wins. His biggest result came in 2009 when he chopped the Full Tilt Espana Series - Barcelona for €81,000. In the past 18 months, he has finished top 2% of 7 big field events. In 2021, he placed 242nd in the WSOP Main Event.
David writes op-eds for VSO News and strategy articles for Upswing.com. He is the commentator for Merit Poker and UNIBET Open and has commentated in the past for The Irish Open, Kings Casino Rozvadov, Battle of Malta, Malta Poker Festival and the Patrik Antonius Poker Challenge. He is the host and producer of the popular GPI Global Poker Award winning podcast ‘The Chip Race’. He has also been a coach and staker.
